The beautiful wedding of Declan and Alison Donnelly was held in an exquisite marquee in the rolling Newcastle countryside. Of key importance to the couple was an informal mood, underpinned with discreet and attentive service.
Following the sparkling canapes reception, the guests enjoyed luxurious antipasti and charcuterie boards. Continuing the relaxed approach, sharing platters featured a choice of Salt-baked seabass, or Roast Goosenargh chicken with roasted garlic. Accompaniments included Butternut squash gnocchi, sage and ricotta, Roasted new potatoes with rosemary and Baby beet, radish, watercress, borage leaves and rocket salad. A firm favourite, dessert of Profiteroles filled with crème patisserie, hot chocolate, vanilla ice-cream and fresh berries was served.
The celebrations continued into the evening with a selection of ‘guilty pleasure’ sliders midnight snacks, followed the next day with a farewell gathering where guests enjoyed a luxurious barbecue in the idyllic setting.
